Identity Theft & Phishing Workshop
Join us to learn from Experts, Receive Workbook and Resources on May 2, 2006

Identity theft is emerging as the most rapidly growing crime of the 21st century. According to a recent survey conducted by Deloitte, one in five respondents has been the victim of identity fraud or theft. The threat is increasing significantly, and methods of identity theft are becoming more sophisticated every year.

The amount of phishing attacks has increased exponentially. Attackers create
look-alike web sites to mimic legitimate companies as "bait" to lure people into
providing their usernames, account information and other confidential data. We will explore
and advice you to keep your computer free of spyware, adware, worms, intruders, keyloggers, Trojan and other hijacking viruses.

The workshop will provide knowledge and tools to:

•  Understand how Identity Theft is committed
•  Detect and prevent identity theft
•  Monitor and Protect your personal Identity
•  Restore your stolen Identity
•  Internet and online security threats and how to protect from them
•  Methods to identify and block Phishing emails and websites and what can you do protect from this and other scams.
