Volunteering with SIP

Volunteers Required for IT 360 (April 8-9, 2008) to staff a SIP double booth, each shift is only 3 hours:

- Shift # 1: Tuesday April 8, 2008: 11 am to 2 pm
- Shift # 2: Tuesday April 8, 2008: 2 pm to 5 pm
- Shift # 3: Wednesday, April 9, 2008: 11 am to 2 pm
- Shift # 4: Wednesday, April 9, 2008: 2 pm to 5 pm

We also need the following volunteers:

SIP Internet Librarian: We need a person to do database the books and visit the library once a month to sign out the books to members. Expand the library and work with community organizations involved with literacy.

SIP Internet Job Board: This is a semi-volunteering job, we need a person to market job posting to employers and recruitment companies. We charge $200 per posting and the coordinator will get a part of the fee charged.

Events Promoter
We need marketer in making to promote our events to other communities and media.

Website Usability Coordinator: A person to edit, audit and check look and feel of SIP website.

Audio/Video Pod caster: A person to edit audio video files and post them to broadcast to SIP and other media websites.

Web Master/Designer: Familiar with HTML and graphic work.

Make a difference and get some great experience in the process. You will be sent additional documents to provide guidelines and to apply.
