SIP ePOST #415: SIP Volunteers/Networking Meeting January 2nd, 2003

The Society of Internet Professionals (SIP) wishes you a wonderful 
2003! May health, happiness and good times greet you, each day of 
the New Year. 

Raise your profile, by becoming part of the Executive Committee or 
Advisory Board of SIP. The following voluntary positions are available 
for year 2003.

1. Monthly Events Coordinator: to seek out speakers, sponsors and 
organize monthly events.

2. Newsletter Editor: to revive SIP Post, a monthly newsletter, which 
was integral part of Silicon Valley North.

3. Media Relations Coordinator: promote SIP and its initiatives to 
various media and act as SIP's Public Relations coordinator.


4. Membership Coordinator: promote Certified, Associate and 
corporate Memberships.

5. Member of Advisory Board: assist SIP in strategic planning and 
implementing initiatives.

Please send an email (founder@sipgroup.org) if you are willing to 
commit for any of the above positions.

Please pass this information within your organization and professional 
associates.

You are also invited to attend Volunteers/Networking meeting at 
Room 304, Metro Hall, 55 John Street, Toronto (nearest subway is St. 
Andrew) on January 6, 2002 at 6 pm. (there is no registration fee but 
an email at  rsvp@sipgroup.org will be appreciated).

We are pleased to announce that committed volunteers will be able to 
apply for Associate Membership at no dues (but we need all 
volunteers to pay $5 for SIP PIN).
 
Please bring a lot of business cards for networking and a copy of 
resume for future considerations.
