I hope you are enjoying the rest of the summer. We 
are gearing for fall and here are some important 
dates for you to log in your calendar.

1. A meeting of all volunteers including Legal & 
Certification council is called on Thursday Aug 29 
at 4:30 pm (ending 6 pm) at Metro Hall, 55 John 
Street, Toronto. We invite all even if you are not 
a member /or Associate of SIP, to explore our 
organization. 

This will turn into a networking and exchanging 
business cards meeting.

2. Immediately after the above meeting, members of 
SIP Usability SIG will meet to plan the year; 
again this will also be a social meeting. 

Thursday Aug 29 at 6 pm at Metro Hall, 55 John 
Street, Toronto. Please join if you have interest 
in website development and its usability. All 
volunteers are encouraged to stay for this 
meeting.

3. Our first evening with a Usability speaker will 
be held on September 3, 2002 at 6:30 pm at Metro 
Hall. Details will be announced shortly.

4. A one-day interactive Workshop on Usability 
Guidelines is rescheduled on Oct 16, 2002. 
Previous two workshops on similar topics were 
liked by attendees. We are expecting this will be 
even more successful. Details are at:

5. We are pleased to announce that we will 
participate at Comdex Fall 2002 Show in Las Vegas. 
Please volunteer at SIP Booth, if you are planning 
to attend Comdex Fall Trade Show, Las Vegas, Nov 
18-22, 2002. Please email tradeshow@sipgroup.org 
to join our caravan.
