Corporate partnership is a vehicle to partner with the SIP to support and finance initiatives planned by SIP such as SIP-U Online, CIP distance learning, Web broadcasting, Office infrastructure, Resource Centre, membership registration CD, CIP examination, etc. Alternatively SIP may facilitate any initiative of the corporate partner.

All corporate partners are automatically designated as a corporate member (see the benefits above) and all of their employees (some limits do apply) are considered associate members (see the benefits above).

Additionally they get promotion opportunities at all SIP events and at all chapters including printed materials.

SIP also extends an invitation to anyone in the sponsoring company to sit on the SIP Executive Board or one of its committees.

SIP will be happy to sponsor any professional event of the Partner Company. In doing so the corporate partner may use a special logo with inscription "Corporate Partner" on the promotion material and SIP will announce this event through its mailing list (there are over 2000 subscribers on the list).

There are three levels of corporate partnership with the Society of Internet Professionals. The fee depends on the scope and extent of projects involved ranging from Silver Partnership which represents partial or joint involvement in a project with other corporate partners to Platinum Partner which represents full involvement in, or primary responsibility for, a major development project.
